Our litigation team offers legal representation in a variety of areas to meet the needs of our business and professional clients. Our attorneys have successfully represented clients in matters related to business disputes, real estate disputes, directors' and officers' liability, securities fraud, construction litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, environmental liability, collection matters and a multitude of other business matters. We have significant experience in representing clients in both state and federal courts, appellate courts, as well as in mediations and arbitrations.

Bankruptcy and Insolvency Matters

Our bankruptcy and insolvency practice focuses on assisting business and professional clients in a variety of matters related to financially distressed entities. Our attorneys have represented a wide variety of Hawaii based, mainland, and international clients, in some of the largest bankruptcy cases in the State of Hawaii as well as in out-of court workouts, and complex corporate restructurings. We have successfully negotiated and implemented plans of reorganization and litigated a variety of issues in the bankruptcy context, including creditor claims litigation as well as fraudulent conveyances and preferential transfer cases. Given the experience and knowledge of our attorneys, as well as our commitment to client satisfaction, we have successfully represented secured and unsecured lenders and other creditors, debtors-in-possession, equity holders, bankruptcy trustees and other court-appointed fiduciaries.

Insurance and Tort Litigation

Our insurance coverage and tort litigation practice focuses on the representation of policyholders in insurance coverage and bad faith matters, plaintiffs in personal injury cases, and business clients in commercial torts and other litigation. Our attorneys have successfully represented commercial businesses and individuals, in multi-million dollar coverage matters. We are experienced in representing clients in all courts in the State of Hawaii, Federal Courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation.
